Our Office is in search for a Candidate who is not afraid to work hard, will not give up when things get hard, and who is looking for a long term working relationship . We are looking for someone that will not accept anything less than delivering the highest patient care experience, and will watch out for co-workers like family.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic pediatric dental assistant, who is patient with children and ready to help children have a safe and positive experience at the dentist. We are looking for candidates able to work Mondays through Fridays. Experience with Pediatric Dentistry and Open Dental software a bonus. Position available immediately.
This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, commitment to the team, and the ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties (including but not limited to)

Chairside Assistance: Help the dentist during exams, cleanings, fillings, and other procedures.
Patient Care & Comfort: Calm anxious children, explain procedures in a kid-friendly way, and provide post-treatment instructions.
Sterilization & Infection Control: Clean and sterilize instruments, maintain a sterile environment, and follow safety protocols.
X-rays & Imaging: Take digital dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Dental Charting & Record-Keeping: Update patient records, document treatments, and assist with scheduling follow-up visits.
Education & Prevention: Teach children and parents about proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, and nutrition for healthy teeth.
Equipment & Supply Management: Ensure dental tools and materials are stocked and ready for use.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and patience with children and parents.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, kid-friendly environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
