Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. working hours are Tuesday - Thursday. We offer a BONUS structure based on production every month.

Only 1 patient per hour to give lots of quality time with patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Assess and document patient dental histories, including medical records and vital signs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Operate dental office systems, including Dentrix software, for scheduling and patient management.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and follow up on patient care as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in assisting with various dental procedures and treatments.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Experience using Dentrix or similar dental office management software is preferred.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring in a clinical setting.
• Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently in all procedures.
• Experience working in a dental clinic environment is advantageous.
• Excellent documentation review skills to ensure accuracy in patient records.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $66.00 - $76.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
