Dental Assistant needed in a surgical periodontics and implant practice

Our periodontics specialty dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team.

Who We Are

We are a full-scope periodontics and implant practice in Sun City West. We pride ourselves in treating periodontal and implant diseases, rebuilding bone and soft tissue, helping patients maintaining their dentition, and we are also equipped to provide full-arch implant service (All-on-4) with intraoral/facial scanner, photogrammetry, and 3D printing.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team. Doctor (owner) is willing to train recent dental assistant graduates with minimal experience as long as the individual is responsible, disciplined, motivated and willing to learn, compassionate to our patients and being able to work with other staff as a team. Both part-time and full-time dental assistant are eligible for PTO after 90 days grace period. We have a montly bonus structure in addition to your hourly rate tied to the practice performance.

Responsibilities

• Sterilization
• Set up hygiene and surgical operatories
• Converse with patients to build trust and rapport with patient, and instill confidence in patients that we are here to help serve their dental needs
• Chairside assisting doctor during procedures
• Document daily notes using automated auto note prompt
• Monitor weekly supply inventory and inform doctor prior to ordering supply
• Document medications administered during sedation (oral, nitrous oxide and intravenous)
• Fulfill miscellaneous chores to keep the office clean and neat
