Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the management of patient appointments and follow-up care.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including assisting during procedures when necessary.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dental software
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
