Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the management of patient appointments and follow-up care.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including assisting during procedures when necessary.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dental software
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
