Dental Assistant - Premier Dental of Branchburg - Branchburg, NJ

We are a family-oriented dental practice in Branchburg, NJ, focused on providing individualized patient care.
We are looking to hire a dental assistant who has a positive energetic attitude and can make the dental office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Organization and attention to details are necessary to accomplish the duties of this position. Experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental room
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Set up and take patient x-rays
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Review oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions with patients
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Sanitize dental room to prepare for next patient
Perform lab tasks
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Maintain inventory and perform ordering of dental materials and supplies

High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) License preferred

Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. RDA)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
