Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and best practices in both pediatric and general dentistry. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with dentists and dental assistants to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct periodontal assessments and apply preventive treatments as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the clinic.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software for documentation review.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
