Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Kidz Dental Haven. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and care of our pediatric patients while assisting the dentist with various procedures. Your contributions will help us maintain our high standards of dental care.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure efficient patient care.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain infection control standards.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed for patient assessments.
Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software and ensure accurate documentation.
Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort levels during procedures.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices.
Provide support in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a pediatric setting.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques.
Familiarity with dental software, such as Eaglesoft, is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
