Registered Dental Hygienist - Huntsville Periodontal and Implant Specialists - Birmingham, AL

We have an immediate opening for a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist at our periodontist office. We are seeking a dedicated individual to work on Mondays, with the potential to expand to additional days.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing examinations and extensive cleanings, taking x-rays when necessary, and administering fluoride treatments. At the end of each cleaning, you will provide our patients with instructions on effective brushing and flossing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient examinations and extensive cleanings
Take x-rays as needed
Administer fluoride treatments
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene habits
Update and maintain patient records
Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Restock treatment areas as needed
Prepare the work area for procedures
Ensure all procedures follow proper sterilization techniques

Requirements:

Current state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures and techniques
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization practices
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care
