**Job Overview:**
Our specialty dental practice is seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks and providing excellent customer service in a dental office setting.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 PM. Friday 8:30 am - 1:00 PM. Hours may change depending on practice needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages
- Verify insurance information and create treatment estimates
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the dental team
**Requirements:**
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental office procedures
- Experience in dental administrative support
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Proficiency in managing phone systems and handling patient inquiries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency situations
