Dental Hygienist - Scott R. Stein DDS - Salt Lake City, UT

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist for Tuesdays only to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases.
We are a solo Dr. practice and have an easy going environment. The hygiene schedule is single column 1 hour appointments. Hours are Tuesday 7:45am-4:40pm with a scheduled 40 minute lunch.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision and care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation review skills.
Knowledge of infection control measures and aseptic techniques is essential.
