Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in patient education, promoting oral health, and assisting in various dental procedures.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take medical imaging, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Measure and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a dental setting.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software such as CURVE HERO is preferred.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental clinic environment.
Experience in patient assessment techniques and familiarity with medical records management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in dental hygiene practice.
