About the Role:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and providing exceptional care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized. You will also be responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment. Additionally, you will manage patient records and appointments using Dentrix software, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice. Ultimately, your efforts will help enhance patient satisfaction and promote a positive experience in our dental office.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in dental assisting (e.g., CDA or RDA).
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Experiance with Invisalign/iTero
Experiance in ordering dental supplies and maintaining a monthlky budget.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage patient records, appointments, and billing using Dentrix software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
