Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
Provide support in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix is advantageous.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and general dental assisting practices is highly valued.
