Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.
Our office is a father/son family practice and both doctors are so kind and amazing to work for!
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a sterile environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on post-operative care instructions.
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as creating impressions or assisting with prosthodontics when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures is advantageous.
Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus, including managing patient interactions and administrative tasks.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and medical imaging systems will be beneficial in this role.
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Dentrix is desirable but not required.
