Registered Dental Assistant - New Teeth Dental Solutions - League City, TX

We are hiring full-time Registered Dental Assistants for our patient-centered office to join us in redefining the standard of care in dentistry!
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be open to taking a new approach to dental care by bridging the gap between our wonderful patients and capable providers. They should be friendly, energetic, motivated, ambitious, self-starters, dependable, and organized with a cheerful attitude.
Duties Include (but not limited to):

Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
Assisting the dentist during the pre-operative and operative procedures
Scan patients for procedures using Itero scanner- Invisalign, pre and post op procedures, crown and bridges
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments in accordance to OSHA regulations
Providing post-operative instructions for minor/ major procedures
Following up with patients to ensure their needs are being met
Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe (water decontamination)
Have a deep knowledge and understanding of each phase of our Airway and Invisalign treatment; as well as general dentistry
Place temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders
Create, manage, coordinate, and follow up with online scheduling, consults, and virtual Airway and Invisalign appointments
Clean suction traps, run cleaners in equipment, call patients, schedule patients, order supplies and general house cleaning duties

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred- State License required
CPR certification required
Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment is required
Proficient in taking accurate dental radiographs
Outstanding organizational, communication and customer service skills
Proven ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of situations/people
Exhibits confidence and enthusiasm for new challenges
Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new dental technologies and techniques
Proficient with technology Modern office setting
