Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare and promoting good dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Perform patient assessments and discuss oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate patient medical records- Provide education on proper dental care techniques- Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures- Utilize medical imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy for effective treatment- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software for patient management- Adhere to aseptic techniques for infection control
Qualifications:- Certification in Dental Hygiene- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients- Experience in general dentistry practices- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Proficiency in medical records management
