Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up on cancellations.
Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions when required.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
Stay updated on medical terminology, dental terminology, and advancements in dental assisting techniques.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting with hands-on experience in a dental clinic setting.
Knowledge of endodontics and pediatric dentistry practices is preferred.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and adherence to HIPAA standards.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
