Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Record vital signs and assist in monitoring patients' comfort levels during treatments.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, and billing processes.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with prosthodontics is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding, and documentation practices.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in assisting procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Certification or training in dental assisting is desirable but not required.
