Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - North Dallas Family Dental - Dallas, TX

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients, particularly in the areas of cosmetic and general dentistry. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in medical documentation, and familiarity with dental systems such as Practice Works, Eaglesoft, and etc.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Schedule appointments, create treatment plans and manage patient flow efficiently.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked.
Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and office operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office is preferred.
Familiarity with cosmetic dentistry is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
Experience with prosthodontics procedures will be beneficial.
Proficiency in using Practice Works or similar dental management software is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Current RDA license
Current CPR
