As a Dental Assistant, you will be essential in supporting dental practitioner and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your core skills in chairside assisting, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be vital in providing high-quality patient care. With premium skills in EMR systems and X-ray procedures, you will assist in various dental treatments and maintain accurate medical records. Additionally, your bilingual abilities will enhance communication with diverse patients, while your CPR certification and status as a Registered Dental Assistant will ensure compliance with safety standards. JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the Doctor- four handed dentistry
Setup and clean the treatment rooms
Infection control
Intra-oral scans with Medit and/or 3Shape required.
Pour models if needed.
Take digital x-rays
Take primary alginate impressions as needed.
Take intra-oral and extra-oral patient pictures.
Sterilize instruments
Keeps office clean
Answer phone and schedule patients as needed.
Fabricate accurate temporaries
Pack cord
Digital scanning, design of crowns, staining.
Design of occlusal guards, printing and delivery.
Printing and staining of temporary crowns, bridges, dentures, All-on-4's
Educate patients with pre-op and post-op instructions.
Obtain signed consent forms before every procedure.
Perform various office tasks as necessary.
Present and reinforce treatment plan option and explain need and urgency of treatment.
Must have current CPR and RDA.
Oral sedation monitoring certification is a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Minimum six months of clinical experience.
Transcribe and chart patient notes daily.
Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5pm and be on time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
