Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Atique Orthodontics - San Antonio, TX

Overview:We are seeking an RDA with extensive Orthodontic Assistant experience to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities:- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments- Take and record vital signs of patients- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care- Perform patient assessments, including medical history review- Take dental impressions and X-rays as needed- Assist with CAD/CAM technology for orthodontic appliances- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:- RDA with X-ray License in Texas.- Experience working in an orthodontic office.- Knowledge of orthodontic terminology.- Proficiency in taking X-rays and using dental imaging software- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
