Dental Assistant - Peninsula Cosmetic and Family Dentistry - Charleston, SC

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our single dentist office conveniently located in West Ashley.
Responsibilities:
- ideal candidate has 2 years of Dental Assisting experience
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory rooms- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-Rays)- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following treatment- Conduct initial patient screenings, including vital signs and documenting medical history- Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized and stored- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:- Knowledge of radiographic techniques- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Ability to perform patient assessments and take vital signs- Proficiency in managing dental records and X-Ray imaging
