Hours:

Mon-Wed 7:45-5
Thursday 7:45-4
Fri 7:45-12 once a month if interested, as needed

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate EFDA to join our growing team. As an EFDA, at Hershey Dental Associates, LLC you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional oral healthcare to our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental procedures, providing patient education, and assisting the dentists in various dental procedures. Responsibilities:

Assist doctors as directed during dental procedures.
Take Intra oral photos and take dental X-rays.
Educate patients on procedures and treatment plans.
Place filings and rubber dams
Coronal polishing
Make temporary crowns
Take trios scans, take impressions
Assist the team during downtime by preparing/stocking the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining proper infection control protocols and helping each other.
Apply dental sealants as directed by the dentist.
Document patient care activities accurately in electronic dental records.
Conduct preliminary examinations and update patients' medical history
Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans and follow-up care.

Requirements:

Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent
Radiology certification
CPR certification
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, oral diseases, and preventive dental care.
Familiarity with Dentrix software and electronic health records.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
