*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide efficient, quality dental care to patients.
*Duties*
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Educate patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Ensure appropriate medical documentation is accurately recorded in patient records
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend for scheduling and maintaining patient records
- Operate 3D scanners for dental imaging purposes
- Assist with prosthodontic procedures
- Perform customer service duties as needed
*Qualifications*
- Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical records management
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry
- Experience with vital signs monitoring
- Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
