Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. EFDA certification preferred but will consider candidates with experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a sterile environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform X-ray imaging as required, following safety protocols and guidelines.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control measures to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Practice four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.
Manage appointment schedules, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as needed
Qualifications
Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental clinic setting is essential.
Proficient in taking X-rays and understanding radiographic safety measures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 â 40 per week
