Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to assist the dentist during various procedures.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental models (will train).
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care when needed.
Manage inventory of dental supplies
Implement infection control procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
Requirements
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program (preferred).
Proficiency in dental terminology and medical coding is preferred.
Experience with X-ray technology and 3D scanning is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate medical records.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
