Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for dentistry and patient care, with a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS UNDERTANDING AND EXPERIENCE IN ENDODONTICS (ROOT CANAL)
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Experience with X-Ray imaging- Familiarity with medical records management- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus- Experience in Pediatrics, Prosthodontics, or Pediatric Dentistry is advantageous- Proficiency in Dentrix software is preferred- Understanding of medical coding practices- Ability to assist in various dental procedures
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Weekends as needed
