Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to a caring and efficient dental practice.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Take and develop dental X-rays as directed.
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
Manage patient scheduling and ensure smooth patient flow.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; certification from an accredited dental assistant program preferred.
Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in dental software and X-ray technology.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
