Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow through effective four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring accurate medical documentation and imaging.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform basic lab tasks such as taking impressions for prosthodontics and preparing materials for dental procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to promote patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in Dentrix software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of anatomy, medical coding, and medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, including prosthodontics, is an asset.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
