Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with practice policies.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes.
Provide support in endodontics procedures as needed, ensuring patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
Serve as a dental receptionist when required, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and managing front desk operations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
ExperienceCandidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
Medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with medical coding practices.
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques within a clinical setting.
Understanding of medical terminology related to dental health.
Experience with medical documentation processes.
Knowledge of infection control standards specific to dental clinics.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in a dental clinic environment, showcasing their ability to adapt quickly to various tasks while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.48 - $24.70 per hour
Expected hours: 24 â 30 per week
