Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during patient exams and procedures, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and provide excellent patient care throughout their visit.
Hours are Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and every other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during procedures and enter treatment plan
Taking x-rays, CT (CBCT) scans, and digital impressions on patients
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Manage patient records
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Coordinating lab cases and entering information into the dental management software
Helping with administrative tasks in the office such as scheduling, collecting payments and record-keeping when needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
Radiology license is a must
Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of sterilization and safety protocols
