Founded in 1989 by one dentist with one employee, ADT Dental now has 4 women dentists with 19 employees working out of a nine operatory clinic in Uptown Minneapolis. Inspired by our dentists’ years of service on nonprofit boards and guided by a vision that all children should have access to preventive dental care, ADT Dental founded a nonprofit, Ready Set Smile, in 2013. We bring dental services and education to students and families in nearly 20 schools in Minneapolis. Recently ADT Dental joined with Apple Tree Dental, a nationally recognized, innovative, independent non-profit group practice that provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages and abilities.
We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to join our patient-focused, fast paced, state-of-the-art dental practice. You would also have the opportunity to work in our school-based mobile program one day per week.

Our Licensed Dental Assistants are responsible for a variety of job duties and responsibilities. Examples include (but are not limited to):

Assist the clinical providers in the oral health management of all patients while following Apple Tree’s policies and procedures; and as directed by provider
Prepare operatory for patient treatment as indicated by the clinical schedule and/or supervisor
Expose dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and law as well as ATD’s directive and protocol
Insure the sterility of all reusable dental instruments and equipment in accordance with ATD’s directive and protocol
Monitor equipment and perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly maintenance and regulatory tasks in accordance with manufacturer’s directions and ATD’s policies and procedures
