Job Description
What we are looking for:
Premier Dental in Nampa is hiring a part-time dental assistant! We're looking for someone to start around April 4th.
Our growing yet well-established office has a loyal patient base and a team culture built on accountability, resourcefulness, and knowledgeâwhere everyone supports each other. We need an assistant who shares these values and has the experience and drive to work alongside the doctor and another assistant to manage three columns efficiently.
Role:
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
Prepare and sterilize instruments following strict infection control protocols.
Take X-rays and digital scans with precision.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Ascend/Dentrix software.
Prepare treatment plans and clinical notes for each patient.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Monitor vital signs before, during, and after treatments.
Manage dental supply inventory to keep the clinic running smoothly.
Keep up on sterilization and cleanliness of the clinic.
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as impressions and temporaries when needed.
Four-handed dentistry to assist in smooth procedures.
