Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at our dental clinic. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Assist in the management of dental supplies inventory, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
Support prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient fittings.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Epic systems or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control practices, medical terminology, and general dentistry procedures is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate patient records and compliance with protocols.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
