Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist – Full-Time
Are you a friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated dental assistant looking for a dynamic role in a patient-centered general dental practice? We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

We are a young and energetic private general dentistry practice in San Ramon, committed to providing excellent dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our office prides itself on maintaining a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere where staff and patients feel like family. You’ll be working alongside our beloved dental assistant to support Dr. Nelson Wong, our only dentist, in delivering top-notch patient care.
Position Overview
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, with a lunch break from 12 PM – 1 PM. The role will primarily focus on chairside assisting but will also include front desk duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:

Chairside assisting during various dental procedures
Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control
Taking dental x-rays and performing digital scans
Fabricating and cementing temporary crowns and bridges chairside
Must work well with kids and ensure they feel comfortable during treatment

Front Desk Duties:

Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Assisting patients with check-in and check-out
Verifying insurance and handling basic administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For

1-3 years of experience in dental assisting (required)
X-ray certification (required)
Knowledge of digital scanning and dental software is a plus
A positive attitude and a team-player mindset
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin-speaking skills are a bonus
