Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant - $20 to $25/hr depending on experience & RDA license
We are a pediatric dental practice seeking a fun, energetic, outgoing, patient-oriented person to join our team. It is our goal to provide a kind, friendly, and family-oriented environment for employees where we all enjoy working with each other.
The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and is comfortable communicating with children and their parents about dental care. RDA is preferred but also open to DAs that will pursue their RDA License. At least 1 year of dental assistance experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply!
Schedule: 4 days per week (9 AM -6 PM). We see patients on Monday, Wednesday, Fand riday. Tuesdays OR Thursdays would be admin day. 1 Saturday a month, 9 AM to 2 PM
Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience & RDA license
Position Requirements:
Valid X-ray license, Coronal polish certificate
CPR certified - if not, will cover certification
RDA license or willing to get a license.
Job Duties include:
Great working attitude and approach with children.
Taking X-rays (experience with taking x-rays on kids preferred...Will train).
Prophys and instruct parents and patients on oral hygiene.
Charting Exams (Will train).
Chair-side assisting for treatment (Will train).
Treatment room management and Sterilization.
Inventory and supplies management.
Helping out Dr and team members.
Cross-training for Front Office Duties, Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance., Front office support, etc
