We are a small, one-doctor private practice, where each patient is treated like family. Our team is dedicated to creating a comfortable atmosphere for both our patients and staff. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30-4:30.
Position Overview:As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient patient care. You will assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, take radiographs, manage patient records, and provide general support to the dental team. Your work will contribute to maintaining our practice’s high standards and excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining an organized work environment, and ensuring patient comfort.
Take X-rays
Prepare treatment rooms for patients, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available.
Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and care.
Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment information.
Ensure the sterilization and cleanliness of instruments and the dental office.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, procedures, and treatment plans.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with patient intake as needed.

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification
Experience in a dental office setting preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a small, team-oriented setting.
Friendly, reliable, and professional demeanor.
