Job Description: As a dental hygienist here at our practice, your primary responsibilities will include:

Performing dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing
Applying sealants and fluoride treatments
Taking digital radiographs
Administering local anesthetic
Conducting digital scanning for patient care
Assisting the doctor with dental exams
Educating patients on oral health practices
Maintaining patient records and documentation using digital charting
We are seeking a hygienist who is dedicated, detail-oriented, a strong team player, and has a positive and compassionate attitude toward patient care.

Compensation/Benefits:
Pay Range: 64-70/hr.
Bonus: Yes, based off of office production
401K: Yes with a 4 employer match.

Requirements:
Work Schedule: Monday 11-7, Tuesday & Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 7-3.
Hygienists get 1 hour lunches, and the timing of it depends on the day. On Monday, we have a one hour team meeting from 9:45 to 10:45. We have morning huddles 15 minutes prior to seeing our patients. We use 1 hour hygiene appointments. For new patients, we schedule 2 hours. At times, we have to break this new patient times in half, and have a 1 hour diagnostic appointment, and 1 hour cleaning appointment.
Years Experience Required: New graduates and experienced welcome to apply
Required Skills/Qualifications:

Valid and current dental hygiene license in the state of Washington

Strong commitment to delivering excellent care and service to patients
Comfortable communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent clinical and technical skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Experience with digital charting and documentation (preferred but not required)
New graduates are encouraged to apply
