Dental Hygienist Position
Hours: Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 a.m-5:00 p.m. (Potential for more hours in future if desired)

We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our awesome team. We are a single-doctor private office with single-column hygiene where our emphasis is providing our patients with an excellent dental experience. Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis cleanings and periodontal treatments with a gentle touch, emphasizing patient comfort
Conduct thorough oral assessments, including taking X-rays, reviewing medical histories, and identifying potential dental issues
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the importance of regular checkups
Provide support and assist in dental procedures as necessary
Maintain and sterilize dental equipment following proper protocols
Collaborate with the dentist to ensure the best patient care
Keep accurate patient records and update treatment plans as needed
Help with various projects and office tasks during downtime to promote practice growth

Qualifications:

Current Dental Hygiene license (required)
BLS CPR Certified (required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction
A team player with a positive attitude
Experience with dental software (Open Dental) is a plus
Spanish language is a plus
