Dental Hygienist Position
Yellow House Dental & Implant Center is seeking a capable Dental Hygienist who learns quickly and can think on his/her feet in a fast-paced environment.This position requires you to be a people person with a positive attitude and have a desire to jump right in and be a part of the team that functions like a family.
Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties:

Properly exposes, imports, and labels X-rays.
Takes the patients’ blood pressure and pulse.
Prepares hygiene rooms including, but not limited to, set-up, decontamination, sterilizing all instruments, cleaning hand pieces and room, restocking supplies.
Updates medical histories and demographics, verifies employer/insurance, and communicates with front desk.
Records existing restorations on patients as needed.
Inputs information on the patient’s chart when full mouth perio-charting is needed.
Helps to maintain equipment, instruments and supplies.
Establishes, maintains and keeps hygiene patient files and records up to date (i.e. address, phone number, insurance information, etc.) Documents all conversations in patient’s charts.
Provide direct patient care including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride varnish application and other clinical needs per Doctors approval.
Adheres to all safety and health regulations.
Monitors the hygiene schedule regularly
Assists in the organization & cleanliness of Sterilization.

The expected hours are:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm
