Job SummaryWe are a small family practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This role involves working closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene practices. The days/hours are FLEXIBLE and pay is NEGOTIABLE based on experience.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Document patient care accurately using Eaglesoft.
Monitor vital signs and assist with any necessary dental coding related to patient treatments.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and streamline office operations.

Skills

Strong knowledge of infection control practices in a dental office setting.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Ability to perform vital sign assessments and understand their implications for patient care.
Excellent patient care skills, with a focus on creating a positive experience for all patients.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus, enhancing the ability to support the clinical team effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to educate patients clearly about their oral health.
