Dental Clinical Team Lead - Bear River Medical & Dental - Roy, UT

Bear River Family Dental is excited to announce a Clinical Team Leader position. The Clinical Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position is responsible for overseeing clinical staff, managing patient care processes, and maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership , and familiarity with various dental systems and procedures.
Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Assist in various dental procedures, including general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, while ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
Utilize dental software systems such as Denticon for patient management, scheduling, and medical coding.
Train and mentor new clinical staff on best practices in patient care and office procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
Ensure that all clinical equipment is properly maintained and sterilized according to established guidelines.

Qualifications

Two years of proven experience in dental assisting is essential.
Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix, Open Dental, or Denicon is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols within a clinical setting.
Experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership capabilities.

Bear River Family dental is excited to announce an opportunity for a lead assistant and our new Roy location. We're in-office four days a week, our office hours are 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch break. Our hourly rate is between $18-$24 depending on experience plus bonuses.
