Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Assistant to oversee our clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care. This leadership role requires a strong background in general, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology and documentation.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the clinical team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
Train and mentor staff on best practices in general procedures and patient management.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist in the development of protocols for aseptic techniques and patient safety.
Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with X-rays, and managing dental equipment.
Collaborate with Dentist to provide high-quality patient treatment plans.
Ensure adherence to all health regulations and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as dental assistant for 2-5 years
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
· Well-organized and reliable
RDA license Active
Bilingual (Spanish is a must)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 â 36 per week
