Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care.
Duties
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Take X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation, infection control, and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics
- Understanding of anatomy and oral health
- Certification in Dental Assisting is a must
