Position Overview
Magnolia Dental is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team at our NewDay Dental location. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient education, preventative care, and building long-lasting relationships with patients.
Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Assess patients' oral health and collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
Take and review dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing oral health conditions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy smile.
Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in dental management software.
Provide a positive and comfortable experience for every patient while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

Current Dental Hygiene License in the state of Ohio.
Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide preferred.
Proficiency in taking and interpreting digital X-rays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage with patients.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Experience with dental software and modern technologies is a plus.
