Registered Dental Hygienist - Dental Care Of Montana - Missoula, MT

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled full-time hygienist Dental Hygienist to join our team for 4-5 days per week. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform dental cleanings including prophys, debridements, and SRP
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental or similar systems
- Administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as needed
- Conduct periodontal charting and screenings
- Sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
**Requirements:**
- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in medical coding, medical records, and medical terminology
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring
- Previous work in a dental clinic setting preferred
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations
