Job Description:
Glen Burnie Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. We are open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists who are passionate about providing top-quality patient care. If you are positive, flexible, and dependable, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene, gum disease prevention, and post-treatment care
Take and review digital X-rays using Kodak and Dexis systems
Conduct periodontal screenings and charting
Assist in diagnosing and treating periodontal disease
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in Dentrix
Work collaboratively with dentists and the rest of the team to ensure high-quality patient care
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and patient care techniques
Ensure a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Maryland
Experience with Dentrix, Kodak, and Dexis preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and flexible attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, solutions-focused environment
