Registered Dental Hygienist - Aava Dental of North Hollywood - North Hollywood, CA

Job OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team at Aava Dental of North Hollywood. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our large existing patient base, to be a seminal member of our patient-centric team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in promoting oral health and ensuring our patients have a comfortable and warm experience. We do not accept HMO or Denti-cal in our office.
Duties

Accurate record taking including clinical findings, probing depths, visual examination and diagnosis.
Perform thorough prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning for patients.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean environment during procedures.
Record and update medical records accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Assist with dental imaging , including bitewing, periapical, and panoramic x-rays to support diagnostic efforts.
Work closely with our general dentist and on-site periodontist to support optimal oral health for our patients
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in local anesthetic techniques and procedures.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
Ability to accurately measure vital signs and understand their implications for dental health.
Experience with digital x-rays imaging techniques preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient experience.
