OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both patients and staff.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to maintain patients' oral health.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dental hygiene needs, including reviewing medical records and medical imaging.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management, scheduling, and treatment planning.
Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient workflow during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Support dental assistants as needed in various clinical tasks within the dental clinic.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software systems.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
