OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental care, with a focus on providing high-quality treatment and exceptional patient experiences. As an Associate Dentist, you will work collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and preventive care.
Utilize Eaglesoft for efficient patient management and medical documentation.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure effective four-handed dentistry practices.
Educate patients on oral health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances as needed.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and ability to pass all required background checks.
Proficiency in medical terminology, dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge.
Experience or familiarity with oral surgery procedures is preferred.
Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dental fabrication processes is a plus.
